RHEL4 + 10g + Raw Device #1/8 (VMWare 생성 및 설정)

- Create a New Virtual Machine 클릭 -> 가상머신추가

- Custom(advanced) 선택후 Next

- Next

- 'I will install the operating system later.' 선택 후 Next

- Linux - Red Hat Enterprise Linux4 선택 후 Next

- 이름, 경로 설정 후 Next

> Vitual machine name : RAC1

> Location : D:\RAC_RAW\RAC1 디렉토리 생성후 선택

 

- Processor Configuration -> Next

- Memory 

>1GB ( 1024MB )

- Network Type

> Use network address translation (NAT) 선택 후 Next

- Select I/O Controller Types

> LSI Logic (Recommended) 선택 후 Next

- Select a Disk

> Create a new virtual disk 선택 후 Next

- Select a Disk Type

> SCSI (Recommended) 선택 후 Next

- Specify Disk Capacity

> Maximum disk size : 20 GB

> Store virtual disk as a single file 선택

- Specify Disk File

> Disk File 이름을 RAC1.vmdk로 변경

- Setting값 확인

> Finish

- Edit virtual machine settings 클릭

- Virtual machine Settings

> Floppy, USB Controller, Sound Card, Printer 등 사용하지 않는 장치 Remove 

- Add 버튼 눌러서 필요한 장치 추가

- Hardware Type

> Network Adapter 선택

- Network Adapter Type

> Host-only : A private network shared with the host 선택

- Network Adapter 추가 후 HDD 추가를 위해 Add 버튼 클릭

- Hardware Type

> Hard Disk 선택 후 Next

- Select a Disk

> Create a new virtual disk 선택 > Next

- Select a Disk Type

> SCSI (Recommended) 선택

> Mode >> Independent >> Persistent 선택 >> Next

- Specify Disk Capacity

> Maximum disk Size : 10 GB

> Allocate all disk space now. 선택

> Store virtual disk as a single file 선택

> Next

- Specify Disk File

> Disk file 저장 경로 및 이름 선택

> D:\RAC_RAW\storage\disk1.vmdk  --storage 폴더를 만들어서 디스크경로 저장

> Finish

- 새로 추가된 New Hard Disk 선택 후 Advanced 버튼 클릭

- Hard Disk Advanced Settings

> SCSI 1:0 선택

- 위와 같은 방법으로 총 디스크 3개를 추가하여 세팅해준다.

> disk1 >> SCSI 1:0

> disk2 >> SCSI 1:1

> disk3 >> SCSI 1:2

- RAC1 폴더에서 [RAC1.vmx] 파일을 메모장으로 열어서 내용 수정

- 내용 추가

- CD/DVD (IDE) 더블클릭

- 설치디스크 선택

> Use ISO image file 선택

> Browse.. 선택

- OS 설치 디스크 선택

> RHEL4-U3-i386-AS-disk1 선택 >> 열기

- 디스크 선택 완료 후 OK 클릭

- Power on this virtual machine 클릭

> VMware 설정 완료 >> OS 설치 시작

VMware 생성 완료
